Chenowth Dune Buggy
This was done as an art test for a Bay Area company. I was required to make only the buggy and none of the weapons. It also had a restriction of a 2k texture and ~20k tris.
This is 99% textured with Substance Designer. The tires and chairs were done as separate objects then the uv's were dynamically re-sized and re-positioned placed in Substance Designer. This was to imitate a pipeline where the tires and chair might be reused on multiple vehicle. The camo pattern can be switched dynamically to different patterns. Additionally, the four colors of the camo can be changed. Furthermore, the cargo covers can be removed to fill the baskets with random object or the cover color can be changed.
