Stalingrad, was my first serious experience as a pod lead and it was an experience for sure! This map with through a number of significant art iterations. While it was rough and frustrating at the time it was a fantastic learning experience. My work started with basic block out with the Level Designer on how to contextualize areas, call outs, and theming. After much of my time was spent managing the map, making sure everyone had the info they needed, insuring the map was hitting milestones, keeping up with design needs, checking in with outsourcing, and finding solutions all the little fires that come up. Additionally, I was also in charge of doing a large portion of the terrain, and destroyed mid section of the map. This was then rolled into polish, performance tuning, and bug fixing.
